The 4732 ScreenArray features true three-way system design enhanced for critical film sound reproduction in medium to large cinemas environments
K.C.S. S-1800 and S-1801 extra-flat speaker systems are specially designed for the screen channel in small/medium size cinema theatres where there is very little space between projection screen and rear wall.
This speaker system features a bass cabinet fitted with one 15" Ø speaker, and a high-frequency unit fitted with a compression driver with 2" Ø titanium membrane and 1" Ø mouth. Its 90 x 90 constant dispersion horn provides an exeptionally uniform coverage in the auditorium from first to last row.
S-1800 (passive) speaker system has a passive crossover with cut frequency at 900 Hz, while S-1801 (bi-amplified) is designed to operate with external active crossover with cut frequency at 1000 Hz.
Screen Channel System
K.C.S. acoustic systemy S-2500 and S-2501 are a high quality set specially designed as a screen channel group for medium sized cinema theatres. These acoustic systems include a direct radiation technology bass cabinet with twin 15" Ø woofer. The teble system include a compression driver with 4" Ø titanium membrane and 2" Ø mouth with constant directivity horn.
S-2500 system incorporates a passive crossover with 500 Hz cutoff while S-2501 is designed for bi-amplified aplications and operate with 500 Hz external electronic crossover.

S-3000 system incorporates a passive crossover with 500 Hz cutoff while S-3001 is designed for bi-amplified aplications and to operate with 500 Hz external electronic crossover.
K.C.S. S-7801 and S- 7802 three-way speaker systems are designed for the screen channel in large cinema theatres; their 47 cm depth makes them especially suitable where there is a space limitation behind the projection screen.
S-7801 (bi-amplified) speaker system has a passive crossover to cut frequencies between mid and high frequencies. Between mid and low frequencies, this system is designed to operate with an external active crossover with cut frequency at 400 Hz.
S-7802 (tri-ampflied) system is designed to operate with an external active crossover to cut frequencies both between the low and mid ranges (400 Hz) and betweenthe mid and ranges (1.7 kHz).
The high dynamics demanded to screen channel speaker systems by current soundtracks requires the use of three-way systems in order to ensure high SPL levels in the auditorium while keeping distortion at inaudible levels.
Each of the three ways is controlled by transducers which are specifically designed to operate in the required frequency range and ensure a precise and disortion-free reproduction.
This system features a bass cabinet with direct radiation technology fitted with two 15" Ø speakers.
Voice spectrum in this three-way design is reproduced by two 6,5" cone speakers and 90 x 30 constant dispersion horns, improving intelligibility of dialogues as compared to conventional two-way speaker systems. It is high frequency section membrane and constant directivity horn.
Three-way Screen Channel System
Three-amplified K.C.S. S-8500 speaker system is especially designed for high quality and spectacular cinema installations with large capacity theatres.
This S-8500 system features twin frequency cabinets with two 18" Ø speakers in each cabinet and especially designed for an optimum reproduction of the low frequencies.
The mid-frequency section has a compression driver with 4" Ø titanium membrane, 3" Ø mouth and constant directivity horn.
The high frequency section has a compression driver with neodymium magnetic structure, 4" Ø titanium membrane, 2" Ø mouth and constant directivity horn.
The main improvements obtained with this new system include high SPL acoustic performance at 10 metre distance on axis trancient response no nodes in the 300 Hz to 500 Hz frequency range and increased power handling for the instant sound response found in the new soundtracks at 5 kHz to 10 kHz frequencies.
